A common denominator of things to do in Tahoe City and the West Shore is the great outdoors.  Leaning over Tahoe City’s Fanny Bridge staring at the Truckee River’s water as it feeds Lake Tahoe, holding ski poles in anticipation of a downhill mountain run, tromping around under the pines on winding trails ... well, Mother Nature is the key to all of the invigoration things to do in Tahoe City! And even though Olympic athletes put this place on the map, you don’t have to be a pro at any sport to enjoy every one that’s found here. Anyone with a sense of adventure will have fun with all the things to do in Tahoe City.

Ward Creek Park and Paige Meadows are places to enjoy simple and natural Tahoe City activities. Snowshoe or simply build snow people with your kids during winter, and walk your dog past warm weather floral displays when the temperatures edge toward warmer.

Have you checked out things to do in Tahoe City that will nourish your well-being, such as yoga classes and other mind, body and soul classes held at area studios?
