2026 Summer Music in Tahoe City

There are few summer traditions in Lake Tahoe as beloved as Concerts at Commons Beach. Celebrating its 21st year in 2026, this free concert series brings local, regional, and nationally recognized musicians to the shores of Lake Tahoe every Sunday afternoon in Tahoe City.

Set against the stunning backdrop of Commons Beach, the series offers a unique combination of live music, lake views, family-friendly activities, and local food and beverage vendors. Guests are encouraged to bring picnic blankets, low-back chairs, and friends for an unforgettable summer experience.

The 2026 season runs from June 14 through September 6, with concerts held every Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

2026 Concert Lineup

June 14 – Collectivity

Genre: Jazz/Funk, Psychedelic Soul

The season opens with Collectivity, a dynamic band known for blending jazz-funk grooves with soulful psychedelic influences. Their energetic performances make them a perfect kickoff for the summer concert series.

June 21 – Wild Child

Genre: Doors Tribute Band

Fans of classic rock will enjoy Wild Child, one of the premier tribute acts celebrating the music and legacy of The Doors. Expect iconic songs, vintage vibes, and a nostalgic evening on the lake.

June 28 – Joy & Madness

Genre: Funk, Soul, R&B

July 12 – Moga Family Band

Genre: Contemporary Blues, Soul, Funk, Jam Band

After the July 5 holiday break, the series returns with the Moga Family Band. Known for their improvisational style and soulful musicianship, they deliver a rich blend of blues, funk, and jam-band energy.

July 19 – Big Blue Guitarmageddon

Genre: Blues-Rock

Guitar enthusiasts won’t want to miss Big Blue Guitarmageddon, a powerhouse blues-rock performance featuring impressive musicianship and electrifying solos.

July 26 – Poor Man’s Whiskey

Genre: Bluegrass, Americana, Jam Band, Roots Rock

One of Northern California’s most popular live acts, Poor Man’s Whiskey combines bluegrass traditions with Americana storytelling and roots-rock influences, creating an engaging and danceable live show.

August 2 – Broken Compass Bluegrass

August 9 – New Monsoon

Genre: Progressive Rock, Bluegrass, Blues, World Rhythms

August 16 – Boot Juice

Genre: Funk, Jazz, Cosmic Rock

August 23 – Scott Pemberton O’Theory

Genre: Funk, Psych-Rock, Jazz

Known for explosive guitar work and adventurous improvisation, Scott Pemberton O’Theory offers a powerful fusion of funk, psychedelic rock, and jazz.

August 30 – The Allmond Bros Band

Genre: Blues, Country, Jazz, Rock & Roll

Closing out August, The Allmond Bros Band draws inspiration from Southern rock traditions while incorporating blues, jazz, country, and classic rock influences.

September 6 – The Blues Monsters

Genre: Blues

The 2026 season concludes with The Blues Monsters, bringing authentic blues music and high-energy performances to the shores of Lake Tahoe for a memorable Labor Day weekend finale.
