Free Music Sundays at Commons Beach
Enjoying free live music at Commons Beach in Tahoe City is one of the best ways to relax at the end of the weekend. Every Sunday from 4pm to 7pm, popular west coast bands headline this summer series on the beach. Guests can enjoy a picnic while listening to music on the beautiful shores of Lake Tahoe.
Commons Beach is located in downtown Tahoe City on the North Shore of Lake Tahoe. Home of the Tahoe City Farmer’s Market on Thursday mornings, locals and tourists alike frequent the beach for swimming, kayaking, and sunbathing.
Guests are welcome to bring picnics, blankets, and low-back chairs for a perfect lakeside evening. Local food and drink vendors sell beer, wine, soft drinks, sushi, bbq foods, and ice cream. Come early and enjoy the lakeside ambiance with friends and family. They have a fully equipped playground for the little rock-‘n-rollers too!

GrooveSession is a Southern California band that brings a Movin’ Groovin’ high energy Rock Show with flavors of Jam Rock, Funk, Jazz Fusion, and Reggae.
The band is led by singing drummer Manny Sanchez, along with his younger brother Ronnie Sanchez playing bass guitar and completing an unrivaled rhythm section. Natural harmonies will get you moving when the GROOVE is in SESSION. Brothers Sanchez are joined by the talents and creative energies in Kyle Merrill on guitar and vocals and Alex Mello on keyboards. Both Kyle and Alex are respected musicians and road warriors from the band Brothers Gow.
