After a two-year break, Tahoe City, California will be welcoming back its annual lakeside Oktoberfest celebration on Saturday, September 24th from 12 pm to 5 pm!
Revelers can enjoy craft beers from some of the region’s best microbreweries, live music, and great food with traditional Bavarian-themed games along with a craft vendor village. The crowd will also select the winner of the “Best German-themed costume” contest.
Tahoe City Oktoberfest at the Gatekeepers Museum in Tahoe City is a free family-friendly event, with food and drinks available for purchase. Commemorative Oktoberfest beer glasses will also be available along with beer tickets for guests ages 21+.
Bavarian-themed food items will be available from local food trucks.
No worries about entertaining the kiddos! Oktoberfest invites them to paint their own pumpkin! Pumpkins are FREE, and art supplies available (first come, first served). There is also face painting!

Now in its 11th year, Fall Festival is Truckee’s premier family-friendly harvest celebration and one of Tahoe Donner’s largest events of the year! Tahoe Donner's Fall Festival is a favorite for all ages, featuring a full day of seasonal-themed events and activities.
As each year gets bigger and better, you can expect familiar favorites; bounce house, face painting and a candy apple station! Similarly, there are special events like a climbing wall, a slide and even a doggie dip adventure for your four-legged friends in Northwoods Pool!
Find great food like Oktoberfest-style pretzels with a beer cheese dip. For a meal on the go, grab a brat or hot dog to munch as you explore.
Additionally, Pizza on the Hill restaurant and bar will be open from 11AM-4PM. A menu of cheese, pepperoni and Margherita pizzas, cheese curds and Caesar salad fit for the whole family will be available.
